What HiWatch makes
HiWatch is Hikvision’s entry-level brand: IP cameras and recorders for a shop, a workshop or a small building, with the same app and the same recorder view as the more expensive line but less choice in lenses and analytics.
Why HiWatch, and where it stops
We choose HiWatch when it is about a handful of cameras and budget decides. Two things we always say with it: the brand is Hikvision’s and that group’s provenance is sensitive with some clients, and we are not in the control room; we supply, mount and manage.

What the price depends on
We do not run a webshop, so there is no rate here that would not apply to your situation anyway. What is here is what the amount depends on, so you know what to send along to get one quickly.
- Model and configurationWithin one product line the gap between the entry model and the heaviest variant is large. Tell us what the device has to do and we pick the configuration that fits, rather than the most expensive one that would.
- The quantityOn a larger batch the per-device price comes down. Twenty at once is a different conversation from two, even when everything else is equal.
- What has to be on itA device delivered with your settings, software and security costs more than a box, and saves an installation day per unit. That is a choice, not a surcharge.
- Delivery and installationTo one address or to fifteen sites, with or without on-site placement, with or without taking away what was there. That difference is in the price and it is yours to steer.
- Buying or renting, and for how longThe same equipment can be a purchase or a monthly amount across three or four years. That changes not only the figure but where it lands in the books, and it is the conversation with the most in it.
What we do around HiWatch
Mounting cameras is the visible part. What has to be right around them is the network and the documentation.
- A VLAN of their ownCameras and intercoms go on a separate network. Without that separation a camera on ageing firmware is a route to your office files, and that is not theory.
- A recorded retention periodWe set the period and write down why it stands at that number. When a member of staff or a regulator asks, you then show how it stands rather than recount it.
- Power and cabling in one goPoE switches and cabling belong to the same job. A camera on a separate adapter drops out the moment someone touches the power strip.
- Firmware under managementUpdates are planned. Security equipment left on the firmware of its installation day eventually stops securing itself, let alone anything else.

We deliver in the Netherlands, Belgium and Türkiye from our own offices, and beyond that through our distribution partners. On a larger batch the per-device price comes down.

Do you install HiWatch as well?
Yes. Advice, mounting, network and configuration are part of the same job. In the Netherlands and Belgium our own people do the work on site.
Which HiWatch models do you supply?
IP cameras, NVR recorders, Turret cameras, PoE-recorders. What fits follows from the number of cameras, the retention period and the light at the spot, not from the resolution on the box.
What about the GDPR?
Signage at every entrance, a limited retention period and secured access to the footage. We configure it that way and document it; whether your organisation meets every obligation is a legal judgement we do not make.
