Two IT colleagues working together at a workstation in a bright office

The bridge between strategy and technology

ITproposal was founded in the Netherlands in 2019 and now supports more than 150 clients from three offices. Local direction in the Benelux, delivery capacity around the clock.

Who we are

An IT partner that stays close to the work

Big enough to keep your critical systems running through the night, small enough that you always speak to someone who knows your organisation.

Our story

From two founders to three offices

ITproposal started in 2019, when Enes Bagci and Tunahan Gider noticed the same pattern at organisation after organisation. The technology was rarely the real problem. What was missing was someone who could sit at the table, understand what the business wanted to achieve and then take responsibility for making the technology follow.

That gap became our starting point, and it is still the sentence we lead with: the bridge between strategy and technology. We do not hand over a report and wish you luck. We stay involved once the plan turns into tickets, migrations, network changes and the everyday questions your people ask on a Monday morning.

Growth that followed our clients

Amsterdam remains the head office and the starting point for most client relationships. We opened in Antwerp because Belgian clients wanted a partner in their own market rather than a supplier over the border. Karaman followed, providing the engineering and delivery capacity behind the scenes. Client contact and support stayed where they belong, in the Netherlands and Belgium, so you are helped locally at any hour.

Today we serve more than 150 clients, mostly mid-market organisations with retail as our leading sector. Alongside retail we work a great deal in healthcare and in transport and logistics: environments where a till, a scanner or a care system simply cannot stand still.

What has not changed

We are deliberately not a hyperscale consultancy, and we are not a one-person shop either. Both founders are still involved in the business day to day, and both are still reachable. Growing to three offices has not changed who answers when something goes wrong, only how many hours of the day we can answer.

What we do

Fourteen services, one point of contact

You should not need five suppliers to keep your IT running. We cover the whole chain, from the first ticket of the morning to the multi-year plan.

  • IT Service DeskOne number for all your staff. We take over ticket handling and end-user support so your internal team can get back to projects.
  • IT StaffingSpecialist IT professionals placed inside your own team, for a project, a peak in demand or a role you cannot fill.
  • Managed IT and Managed NetworkProactive management of your infrastructure and your network, with monitoring that spots problems before your users do.
  • CybersecuritySecurity strategy, tooling and hardening, including the reporting your board and your auditors need to see.
  • Cloud ServicesCloud adoption and day-to-day cloud operations across Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS and VMware.
  • IT Consultancy and Wi-Fi AnalysisStrategic advice on where your IT should go next, plus site surveys that turn patchy wireless coverage into something dependable.
  • Data and Business ContinuityBackup, archiving and disaster recovery with recovery times agreed in advance and demonstrated in an annual test.
  • IT LifecycleProcurement, staging, rollout and certified disposal of hardware. One party for the whole life of a device, across all your locations.
  • Service GovernanceCentral oversight of SLAs, suppliers and reporting across your sites, so the agreements stay checkable instead of decorative.
  • AV and Meeting RoomsDisplays, speakers, microphones, staging and the cabling behind them, installed by trained people and handed over signed off.
  • Hardware Sales and RentalLaptops, headsets, monitors and meeting room equipment, bought or hired from the same party that installs and supports it.
  • Retail ITTills, branch connectivity and shop floor support, built around opening hours and seasonal peaks rather than against them.
How we work

Four habits that shape how we work

Distributed teams only work when the agreements are right. These four hold across all our offices.

We listen before we propose

Every engagement starts with what you are trying to achieve, not with a product catalogue. Only then do we say what we would change, and what we would leave exactly as it is.

One contact, whole team behind it

You have a fixed point of contact in the Benelux who knows your environment. Behind that person sits the wider team, but you never have to work out who sits where.

Everything recorded, nothing lost

Reports, changes and solutions all go into the ticketing system, with a proper handover at the end of each shift, so a colleague in another time zone can pick it up without a phone call.

We stay accountable for the result

Advice that lands in a drawer helps nobody. We stay involved through implementation and report on what actually improved.

Certification

Standards you can hold us to

Certificates are not the point in themselves. They are the proof that how we work is written down, audited and repeatable rather than dependent on who happens to be on shift.

  • ISO 9001Quality management: our processes are documented, measured and reviewed, so the way we deliver does not vary by team or by location.
  • ISO/IEC 27001Information security: how we classify, protect and handle your data, including access management and incident procedures.
  • ISO 14001Environmental management: the environmental impact of our own operations, from hardware choices to how we handle equipment at end of life.
  • Kiwa NEN 4400-1Reliability in staffing: independent verification that our payroll, identity checks and tax obligations are in order, which matters most when our people join your team.
