What Vogel’s makes
Vogel’s makes the mounting for screens: wall brackets, floor stands, ceiling systems and the frames that get a video wall hanging flat. Mind the difference between the consumer line and Vogel’s Professional, those are different products with different fixings, and a bracket off the shelf of an electronics shop under a seventy-five-inch screen is the mistake we run into on installation day.
Why Vogel’s, and where it stops
Vogel’s is a Dutch manufacturer and the Professional line is built for meeting rooms and digital signage, not for the living room. Where it stops: the load-bearing capacity of the wall and the ceiling. A suspended ceiling or a plasterboard wall calls for a structural assessment, and a structural engineer does that; we hang the screen and make sure the cabling and the socket behind it are right.
