What Infortrend makes
Infortrend is Taiwanese and makes storage systems for the layer between a NAS and a real SAN: enclosures with dozens of drives, dual controllers so one may fail, and connections over iSCSI and Fibre Channel. The EonStor GS line does block storage, files and objects in one device.
Why Infortrend, and where it stops
We choose Infortrend for a virtualisation cluster that needs shared storage and where Dell or NetApp is out of budget: two or three hosts, a few hundred terabytes, an environment that must not stop but is not a data centre either. The dual controllers are the argument here and not an extra. Where it stops: the management and the documentation are less polished than with the big names, and support runs through the distributor. In an environment where every hour counts, that weighs in the choice.

We do not run a webshop, so there is no rate here that would not apply to your situation anyway. What is here is what the amount depends on, so you know what to send along to get one quickly.
- Model and configurationWithin one product line the gap between the entry model and the heaviest variant is large. Tell us what the device has to do and we pick the configuration that fits, rather than the most expensive one that would.
- The quantityOn a larger batch the per-device price comes down. Twenty at once is a different conversation from two, even when everything else is equal.

Yes. We supply and configure, and whether the management stays with us is a separate choice. What we do not do is hand over a box and leave the rest to you.
