What HyperX makes
HyperX was Kingston’s peripherals arm and has belonged to HP since 2021. The Cloud headsets are the best-known line and have a reputation for something that rarely appears in a brochure: they last. The Alloy keyboards are mechanical and there is a line of USB microphones for those meeting at home or in a small room.
Why HyperX, and where it stops
HyperX is the sober choice when a headset has to be added and budget per unit counts: home workplaces, an intern, a meeting room with a spare set. The price sits below the business brands and it wears well. Where it stops: as with SteelSeries the business side is missing: no platform certification for Teams or Zoom, no fleet management, and the warranty runs as a consumer one. For a service desk with fifty headsets that is the wrong saving.
