What cab makes

cab is a German family business making label printers and also the devices that actually apply the label: applicators mounted in a production line that label a box or a product as it passes. Alongside that is the laser marker, for text that cannot come loose.

Why cab, and where it stops

cab comes into play where labelling is part of production and not of dispatch: a line labelling dozens of products a minute, a packaging machine, a process where every product gets a unique number. The applicators connect to the line control, and that is exactly where we stop: we do the network, the printer control and the link to the stock system; the mechanical integration into the line is work for the machine builder.
