What Biamp makes
Biamp makes the audio side of a meeting room: ceiling microphones that follow who is speaking, processors that compute out echo and noise, and loudspeakers that spread the sound evenly over the table. Tesira is the platform on which that is tuned, per room and with a design up front.
Why Biamp, and where it stops
Biamp comes into play as soon as the room is larger than a table of eight and people join remotely. Then sound is the problem and not picture: a participant who misses half of it disengages, and that goes unnoticed in the meeting because nobody says so. Where it stops: this is not a product you buy but a design you have made: ceiling height, floor covering and the number of hard walls determine what gets installed. We measure that on site, and without that measurement any quote is a guess.
