What Anker makes
Anker makes chargers, cables and docking stations and changed that market by using GaN technology to build chargers half the size at the same output. For a laptop fleet that is concrete: one charger powering a laptop, a phone and a tablet at once, and fitting in the bag.
Why Anker, and where it stops
We supply Anker when rolling out laptops with USB-C, and it saves more than it seems: one universal charger per employee instead of the brand-specific one means a forgotten charger does not cost half a day. The docking stations do the same for the desk: one cable for picture, network and power. Where it stops: buy on output and not on price. A charger delivering thirty watts to a laptop that asks for ninety does not charge while someone is working, and that is exactly the kind of complaint nobody reports and everybody has.
