Working at ITproposal
Three offices, 150+ clients and colleagues who pick things up for each other across time zones. You will not spend years on the same system here. You work on the IT environments of very different organisations.
See more environments, take responsibility sooner
ITproposal was founded in the Netherlands in 2019 and now works from three offices for more than 150 clients. For you that mainly means one thing: variety in the work, and colleagues who can answer your questions, even outside office hours.
At many employers you manage a single landscape. You get to know that landscape inside out, but after a few years the learning curve flattens. Here it works the other way round: you come into contact with retail, healthcare, transport and logistics, and with organisations that differ considerably in size and maturity. What you solve at one client, you reuse at the next.
Responsibility comes early here. Our teams are compact enough that you have your own tickets, your own clients and your own choices. If something gets stuck, there is always an experienced colleague you can turn to. You are never far from the founders, Enes Bagci and Tunahan Gider: there is no management layer between you and the people who set the course.
Working across regions, without distance getting in the way
Amsterdam and Antwerp handle client contact and the Benelux projects. Karaman provides the engineering and delivery capacity behind the scenes. So you work daily with colleagues who are not in the same building, and here that is not the exception but the standard way of working. Documentation, handover and clear agreements therefore matter more than long meetings.
We work according to certified processes (ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 14001 and Kiwa NEN 4400-1). You notice that above all in the way things are recorded: less improvisation, more predictability, and a quality standard you take with you into every assignment.
The main employment terms
No empty promises on a page. This is what is structurally part of the way we work. We discuss the exact details during the interview.
- Working from three officesAmsterdam, Antwerp or Karaman. Wherever your base is, you are in the same team and you work with the same processes and tooling.
- Growing through staffing assignmentsIf you want to go deeper into a specific environment, you can take part in an IT Staffing assignment at a client. You build up experience in the field and stay employed by ITproposal.
- Varied clients instead of one systemFrom a retail chain with tills and scanners to a healthcare organisation with strict availability requirements. You rotate across clients and projects instead of staying stuck in one landscape.
- A fixed point of contactYou have one colleague who guides you, discusses your assignments and helps you think through the direction you want to take. No new contact person every quarter.
- Taking part in 24/7 deliveryOur coverage on critical services continues outside office hours. Shifts are shared across the regions, so the load does not end up with one team.
- Working according to certified processesISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 14001 and Kiwa NEN 4400-1. You learn to work with security and quality standards that you carry into every next step in your career.
Salary, contract type and secondary benefits are discussed in person, per role and per experience level. You receive a concrete proposal on that before anything is signed.
Four steps, no endless rounds
After every step you know where you stand and when you will hear from us. We keep it short, because you are probably going through several application processes at the same time.
Apply
You pick a vacancy and send your CV with a short note. A long covering letter is not needed: write in five sentences what you are looking for and what you are good at.
Introduction
A conversation of roughly half an hour, online or at the office. We explain how we work and with which clients, and you tell us what you have done so far and what you want to learn.
Technical interview
You speak to a colleague from your field. Using a concrete situation from our own practice, we discuss how you would approach it. No trick questions, just real cases.
Offer and start
If it fits on both sides, we make an offer and agree a start date. You hear in advance which office you will start at and who your first point of contact is.
Where you will be working
Two offices in the Benelux for client contact and projects, two delivery hubs that keep going around the clock.
Netherlands
Zekeringstraat 48, 1014 BT Amsterdam. Our head office since the company was founded in 2019, and the place where consultancy, service desk and staffing come together.
Belgium
Kernenergiestraat 19, 2610 Antwerp. Opened for our Belgian clients, with short travel times to assignments in Flanders.
Turkey
Gazidükkan Mahallesi 107. Sk., Nur Merkez, 70200 Karaman. One of our delivery hubs, closely involved in support outside office hours.
